Sunao Tsuboi (坪井 直, Tsuboi Sunao)(May 5, 1925 – October 24, 2021) was a Japanese anti-nuclear, anti-war activist and teacher. He was a hibakusha, a survivor of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, and was the co-chair of Nihon Hidankyo, a Japan-wide organization of atomic and hydrogen bomb sufferers. In 2011 he was awarded the Kiyoshi Tanimoto peace prize. He lived in Nishi-Ku, Hiroshima.

In 1945 he was a student of the city Hiroshima in Senda-machi. On the morning of Transfiguration, he had simply devoured breakfast at a feeding hall named “Shima no Kaori” and was invited to own a second breakfast with another student.
