Michelle apart from being a writer was also an editor who edited a fictional book called Atticus Review and also eh consulting editor of Best Small Fictions which was the anthology from 2018. Michelle was the author of Too Much They Don’t Tell You Which was the winner of the 2016 Moon City Award. She also wrote the Foreward INDIES which won the book of the year finalist in the short story prize, Shapeshifting, winner of the Stillhouse press short story prize back in 2020, and also They Keep Running which was the winner of the Katherine Anne Porter Short Story award back in 2021 released but won the award in spring of 2022.

Michelle used to live in Texas and she spent her last moments there. Until now their family member of Michelle has not revealed anything about the cause behind her death. As Michelle kept her life away from the limelight, much information about her family is not known. Michelle has her Bachelor’s degree from Emory University with a major in MFA, while she had her MA from Indiana University. As of now, she used to live in Tucson, along with her husband and her son, and she used to give digital courses and assessments while providing detailed information about story writing and details regarding the different aspects of story writing.

Michelle’s novels were also selected for Flash Fiction America which was written y Norton in 2023, Wigleaf 50 in 2019, Best Microfiction in 2020 and in 2021 as well. Best Short Novel back in 2021. Her work was even recognized by Emrys Journal, Gulf Coast, Zizzle it, Sixfold and many more as well. Michelle’s fans have been sending condolences online to her family and her friends as well. Until now her son and husband have not spoken about the demise of the funeral details.
